Trifles first appeared in Issue 2 and the eye-catching but slightly more conservative illustrations were drawn by Kev Smith. Mark’s deviant hand took over from Issue 3 onwards with cartoons of Phil Lynott and Gary Numan, followed, in Issue 5, by caricatures of Jimmy Pursey and Jello Biafra.
